Kevin Hui and Andrew Maynard of Archimarathon brought their signature curiosity and charisma to Taliesin on a recent visit from Melbourne, Australia. In town as keynote speakers for the AIA Wisconsin Conference and presenters for the  Wright Design Series at Monona Terrace, the duo made time for a deep dive into Frank Lloyd Wright’s legacy—culminating in two stunning videos capturing the spirit of Taliesin and Hillside.

Jet lag couldn’t dampen their enthusiasm. After a warm welcome reception in Wright’s Living Room and an overnight stay in the historic Guest Wing, Kevin and Andrew joined Taliesin’s team, AIA Wisconsin members, Taliesin Fellows, and the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation’s Ryan Hewson for a night of spirited conversation and architectural exchange.

The next day unfolded with quiet morning coffee in Wright’s Personal Drafting Studio before a day of filming. With an eye for detail and a deep reverence for design, the Archimarathon team captured Taliesin’s soul in nearly seamless takes. Their commentary explored the dance between form and nature, showcasing Wright’s philosophy with clarity and heart.

Thanks to the generous support of AIA Wisconsin’s Josh Johnson and the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, this collaboration brought new light to Wright’s enduring influence. More than just travel content, Kevin and Andrew’s videos are meditations on how great architecture moves us—how it shapes emotion, place, and perspective.

If you haven’t seen the series yet, you’re in for a treat. This is Archimarathon at its finest.
