This year marks the 120th anniversary of Frank Lloyd Wright’s first visit to Japan, a journey that would leave a lasting imprint on his architectural philosophy and shape some of his most iconic works. To celebrate this milestone, we’re excited to share a special 15-minute video, Wright in Japan shared with us by Kevin Nute, architectural theorist and professor of architecture at the University of Hawaiʻi, Mānoa. Whether you’re a longtime admirer or just discovering his legacy, this virtual exhibit offers a fascinating glimpse into how Japan influenced one of America’s greatest architects.
