Winter Festival

Saturday, December 1 and 8th only! Experience Taliesin this holiday season. Take a one-hour tour around the exterior of the Taliesin estate in a horse-drawn wagon ride. During your tour you'll stop at Tan-y-Deri, a house Wright built for his sister, for warm, seasonal beverages and sweet treats. Enos Farms will be serving brunch at The Riverview Terrace Café and Taliesin Gift Shop will be open for all your holiday shopping needs! Space is limited. Please dress for the weather and bring a cozy blanket. Adults - $20 Children (Ages 4-10) - $10 Children under 3 free on adult lap

Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
Advance purchase is strongly recommended, as space is limited per tour. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book well in advance. Tickets can be purchased using a Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express.
Are there any age limits? Can we bring our kids?
Yes, children can attend. We offer a reduced price ticket of $10 for children 10 and under. Infants and toddlers under 3 years of age can attend for free if sitting on an adult lap.
What about inclement weather?
The tour will run despite rain or snow. In the event of severe weather such as an ice storm or blizzard, we will cancel. Please call us to verify the tour is going out if these conditions exist.
Can we explore Taliesin on our own or do we need to take a tour?
The Taliesin estate is privately owned, and is only accessible by a guided tour. The Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center, which houses the Taliesin Bookstore and the Riverview Terrace Cafe, is free of charge but guests must have tour tickets to view the remainder of the property. The Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center will be open 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Is this tour handicap and stroller accessible?
The wagons cannot accommodate large strollers or wheelchairs. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact us to discuss in more detail.
Do you allow photography?
Cameras are welcome and guests can take photos on the tour. Please, no tripods.
Is Taliesin open all year round?
Taliesin is closed from January through March and our regular tour season runs from May 1 through October 31. We also offer the House tour Friday through Sunday in April and November.
Do you have a gift shop?
Bottled water can be purchased in the bookstore. The tour includes a stop for hot beverages and seasonal treats and the Riverview Terrace Cafe will serve brunch from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Are there any restaurants nearby?
Yes, located within the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center, the Riverview Terrace Cafe has a warm and friendly atmosphere with windows that span the entire length of the building, giving diners an unforgettable view overlooking the scenic Wisconsin River. The restaurant will be open 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. these two days and also has free access to Wi-Fi. Sit, dine, relax and enjoy!
Are restrooms available along the tour?
Restrooms are available in the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center. We recommend using the facilities prior to the departure of your tour.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is a free parking lot at the Frank Lloyd Visitor Center.
Are pets allowed to come?
Certified service dogs are always welcome, other pets are not permitted on tours. Also please note there is limited shade in our parking lot and pets should not left in vehicles while guests are attending tours.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is permitted in the exterior areas near the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center. Smoking is prohibited on the grounds of the Taliesin estate.
