Quick Overview

This design is from an unimplemented tile frieze for the Avery Coonley House (Riverside, Illinois, 1907) designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The design is one of Wright's many nature abstractions that he created during his lifetime and eventually taught to his students because he saw underlying geometric patterns as the foundation of good design.
