Quick Overview

Frank Lloyd Wright designed his Prairie style masterpiece, the Frederick C. Robie House (Chicago, IL, 1908) from his Oak Park Studio. The home, recognized by its deep cantilevered roof and no obvious door on its street facade, is punctuated by over 170 art glass windows which enhance its openness. Their color and delicate geometric diamond and chevron shapes are abstractions of the surrounding foliage. The design of this product is based on the art glass of a casement window identified as No. 51.
