Odessa Piper’s imprint on the Madison food scene has lasted for decades. She was a pioneer for cultivating farm-to-table dining in Wisconsin—and a forerunner in regard to female chefs garnering the opportunities and recognition which for so long had been lavished upon males alone in the culinary industry.
