How We're Handling COVID-19:
The 2020 Taliesin Tour Season is delayed until May 1, 2020. Please read more about how we're handling the COVID-19 outbreak here and check back for updates as the situation evolves.

Taliesin Summer Camps are infused with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) and rooted in the history and culture of the Taliesin Fellowship. Campers explore big picture ideas and distill their learnings into the creation of a final architectural model.

‘How do we live now?’ is a question that has been asked at Taliesin and in the surrounding Wyoming Valley since Frank Lloyd Wright’s ancestors settled here in the 1860s. Summer camp participants will explore this question through the lens of the intersection between food and architecture. This exploration will take place through conversations and activities that will re-imagine communities and engage students in designing for regionally reliant foodways.

Each camp will conclude with a student exhibition open to family and friends. Lunches will be locally-sourced and prepared by apprentices of the Taliesin Food Artisan Immersion Program. Students will eat together as a way to share ideas and foster interpersonal bonds. Lunch, full Taliesin estate access with teaching staff and all materials are included.

Logistics Camps and exhibitions will be held at the Hillside School on the Taliesin estate.

All camps are day camps, Monday-Friday, 9 am-4 pm.

Transportation Shuttle service from the west side of Madison is available on a first-come-first-served basis for a small additional fee. To sign up for shuttle service, please fill the transportation form and return it to Abby Howell-Dinger, Program Coordinator, at
