Taliesin’s summer workshops inspire participants to Think Bold, Imagine the Possible and Be Like No Other. Join us and experience Taliesin in an immersive way!
Every workshop offered promises hands-on learning, experimentation, and opportunity to express individual ideas while working alongside enthusiastic and skilled professionals.
Infused with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), our summer workshops will not only teach professional-level skills and techniques but also immerse participants in the sheer beauty of Taliesin’s built, cultural and natural environment.
As we do our part to educate within a fast-paced, global, diverse, and dynamic world, we also continue to build on Frank Lloyd Wright’s organic principles and the Taliesin Ideal by teaching in an interdisciplinary and integrated way - through architecture, land, farm, food, the arts, and community.
The value of integrating the study of different fields and creating a real-life learning environment has been at the heart of Taliesin since its inception and continues today. Taliesin was the primary residence of Frank Lloyd Wright and his laboratory for design and innovation. It has inspired hundreds of students, artists, artisans, musicians, farmers, and architects for more than a century.
We invite participants to utilize Taliesin’s philosophy and environment as an outlet to express ideas, focus on innovation, value community and a more beautiful way of life.
Each workshop will conclude with a student exhibition open to family and friends. Lunches will be locally-sourced and prepared by apprentices of the Taliesin Food Artisan program. Students will eat together as a way to share ideas and foster interpersonal bonds. Lunch, full Taliesin estate access with teaching staff and all materials are included (some materials required for advanced camps).
Workshops and exhibitions will be headquartered at the Wyoming Valley School, a Wright-designed grammar school located just a few miles south of the Taliesin estate.
