Infused with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), our summer workshops will not only teach professional-level skills and techniques but also immerse participants in the sheer beauty of Taliesin’s built, cultural and natural environment.
As we do our part to educate within a fast-paced, global, diverse, and dynamic world, we also continue to build on Frank Lloyd Wright’s organic principles and the Taliesin Ideal by teaching in an interdisciplinary and integrated way - through architecture, land, farm, food, the arts, and community.
Each workshop will conclude with a student exhibition open to family and friends. Lunches will be locally-sourced and prepared by apprentices of the Taliesin Food Artisan program. Students will eat together as a way to share ideas and foster interpersonal bonds. Lunch, full Taliesin estate access with teaching staff and all materials are included.
Workshops and exhibitions will be headquartered at the Wyoming Valley School, a Wright-designed grammar school located just a few miles south of the Taliesin estate.
New this year! A shuttle service from the west side of Madison will be available for participants for all of the 2019 Taliesin summer workshops. For details and fees, please contact Caroline Hamblen, Director of Programs at firstname.lastname@example.org
