In this introductory workshop catering to our youngest creatives, participants will engage in the basic elements of architecture and design as they experience the natural and built environment of the Taliesin estate first-hand.
Infused with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), this workshop will explore Frank Lloyd Wright’s principles of design and how he used nature as inspiration.
Throughout the week, students will apply what they discover and learn in a variety of hands-on design projects; experimenting with line, shape, form, space, abstraction, and the fun, creative use of materials.
The workshop will conclude with an exhibition open to family and friends. Lunch, full estate access with teaching staff and all materials are included.
No prerequisites necessary.
