No amount of study, reading or web surfing can substitute for an in-person visit to Taliesin. Here, you’ll breathe fresh country air of Wright's Wisconsin home, take in nature’s magnificent panorama, and trace the arc of Frank Lloyd Wright’s creative vision.
Tour Overview:
Our regular season runs from May 1 through October 31 and includes 4 types of tours. In April and November, we offer one, shorter tour, twice a day on the weekends. See the brief descriptions of our tours below, or go to the Our Tours section for more detailed descriptions. Because the Taliesin Estate is privately owned, it is accessible only on a guided tour.
All tours begin at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center, which is free and open to the public while tours are going on. Directions to the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center are in our Getting Here page.
NEW FOR 2009! A $10 (plus tax) lunch ticket is available for purchase with any Taliesin Tour. The purchase of a lunch ticket includes your choice of sandwich or salad, cookie or brownie, coffee or soda. Lunch tickets are available for purchase in advance or on the day of your tour. Gratuity is not included with the lunch ticket. Cannot be redeemed for cash. More information is here, on our "dining" page.

Hillside Tour (One hour)
Conducted:
May 1 – October 31
Every day at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. & 3:30 p.m.
Cost: $16 per person. Seniors/Students: $14.
Children under 18 free when accompanied by an adult, limit: 3 children per adult.
Reservations strongly recommended.

House Tour (Two hours)
Conducted: May 1 - October 31
Every day at 12:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.
Cost:
$47 per person; Seniors/Students: $42.
No children under 12 permitted on the House Tour.
Reservations strongly recommended.

Highlights Tour (Two hours)
May, June, September & October
Conducted:
Every day at 10:15 a.m. & 1:45 p.m.
July & August
Conducted: Every day at 10:15 a.m., 1:45 p.m. & 3:15 p.m.
Cost: $52 per person. Seniors/Students: $47.
No children under 12 permitted on the Highlights Tour.

Estate Tour (Four hours)
May, June, September & October
Conducted: Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
July & August
Conducted: Every day at 9:30 a.m.
Cost: $80 per person. Seniors/Students: $75.
No children under 12 permitted on the Estate Tour.
Reservations strongly recommended.

Shuttle / Walking Tour (Two hours)
April
Conducted: Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m.
November
Conducted: Saturday and Sunday during November, and the day after Thanksgiving, at 10:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m.
Cost: $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12.
Reservations strongly recommended. Shuttle / Walking Tours are weather dependent.
