No amount of study, reading or web surfing can substitute for an in-person visit to Taliesin. Here, you’ll breathe fresh country air of Wright's Wisconsin home, take in nature’s magnificent panorama, and trace the arc of Frank Lloyd Wright’s creative vision.

Tour Overview:

Our regular season runs from May 1 through October 31 and includes 4 types of tours. All of our tours are professionally guided, scheduled at different times of the day, and begin at the Frank Lloyd Wright® Visitor Center, also designed by the architect.

In April and November, we offer one, shorter tour, twice a day on the weekends, as well as the day after Thanksgiving.

Because the Taliesin Estate is privately owned, it is accessible only on a guided tour.

There are several ways that you can find out what type of tours we offer:

During our regular tour season, you can eat at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center in the Riverview Terrace café. For information on what menu options are offered, click here, or click the "Dining" link on the left.

Taliesin Gift Cards are now available through the Taliesin Bookstore. With a Taliesin Preservation Gift Card, recipients can choose from hundreds of products or any of the Taliesin Tours so you can be sure to find the gift they really want. Go to the Taliesin Bookstore to pick the one you want; contact us by e-mail; or call toll free at 877-588-7900, or 608-588-7900.

Reservations strongly recommended for all tours. Walk-ins accepted space permitting only.

Tour reservations or cancellations cannot be made via e-mail.

Tours cancelled within 24 hours of tour time will not be refunded.

Non-refundable $4 handling charge for reservations.

When reserving a tour between the middle of June and Labor Day weekend, we recommend you call at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure you get on a tour on the day/time that you want.

Because space is limited, we recommend you call 2 weeks in advance to reserve a tour for our weekend pre- and post-season tours in April and November.

Off-season office hours (November 1 - April 30) are:

Our tours:

Hillside Tour (One hour)
Conducted: May 1 – October 31
Every day at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. & 3:30 p.m.

Cost: $16 per person. Seniors/Students/Military: $14.
Children under 18 free when accompanied by an adult, limit: 3 children per adult.

Reservations strongly recommended.

House Tour (Two hours)
Conducted: May 1 - October 31
Every day at 12:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.

Cost: $47 per person; Seniors/Students/Military: $42.
No children under 12 permitted on the House Tour.

Reservations strongly recommended.

July & August
Conducted: Every day at 10:15 a.m., 1:45 p.m. & 3:15 p.m.

Cost: $52 per person. Seniors/Students/Military: $47.
No children under 12 permitted on the Highlights Tour.

July & August
Conducted: Every day at 9:30 a.m.

Cost: $80 per person. Seniors/Students/Military: $75.
No children under 12 permitted on the Estate Tour.

November
Conducted: Saturday and Sunday during November, and the day after Thanksgiving, at 10:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m.

Cost: $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12.

Reservations strongly recommended. Shuttle / Walking Tours are weather dependent.
