Taliesin is located in the town of Spring Green, Wisconsin, in the beautiful southwestern part of the state. This area of rolling hills and farms inspired Frank Lloyd Wright as a young man growing up.
An hour west of the city Madison and a half-hour east of the town of Dodgeville, Spring Green is home to 1,400 people. While national hotel chains and eateries are available within driving distance, Spring Green and the surrounding towns are home to mostly individually-owned hotels, motels, and restaurants.
