Artist William Seltzer Rice (1873–1963) took an active part in the flourishing Arts and Crafts movement. Talented in several mediums, he devoted himself to block printing—designing, carving, and printing the blocks himself. The twelve prints reproduced in this calendar include landscapes, flowers, and birds.
