Charles Sumner Greene (1868-1957) and Henry Mather Greene (1870-1954) created a total work of art with their iconic house for David and Mary Gamble at the same time that Wright was at the height of the Prairie Style of architecture. The design of this tile is taken from just one of the stained glass panels that create the Gamble House door.
