Among the many objects that Wright designed was this globe and stand for a client from his Prairie years at the turn of the last century. The proportions of the stand were calculated from Wright's use of scale in other drawings at the time. Stand is maple with a walnut finish. Globe has an antique topographical finish and meridian.
