Quick Overview
Designed by Wright for the E.E. Boynton House (Rochester, New York, 1908), but unexecuted until now. Wright designed this chair with a compound curve in the back in order to provide comfortable seating at the dining table. Unfortunately, the technology did not exist to make his design a reality until recently executed from original plans.
These licensed reproductions pay strict attention to Wright’s original detail. Each piece of furniture is indelibly branded with Wright’s signature, certifying the furniture’s authenticity, as well as the production number, which serves to place the item in the chronology of production and corresponds to the tally on the accompanying identity card.
