Taliesin® Preservation, Inc. would like to thank the following donors for their financial support from July 2006 to June 2007.

Below is a list of projects that TPI has been able to accomplish with these donations, followed by a list of our donors.

• At the Hillside School Structure, TPI was able to:
  • Repair doors and masonry.
  • Rebuild a stairway from its kitchen to its basement.
  • Waterproof the roofs of the Theater, Foyer and Hillside Dining Room.
  • Complete re-roofing project at the Dana Gallery.
  • Repair the roof at Hillside's kitchen and install a new hood over the kitchen stove.
  • Repair the balcony roof at Hillside (overlooking Hillside's Dining Room), and replace the facia.
  • Repair a portion of the Hillside Assembly Hall roof with help from apprentices in the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture; contract with a roofing company to repair that part of the roof not done by staff and apprentices.
• At Taliesin, TPI was able to:
  • Continue work in Taliesin's "Guest Wing" in order to accomplish stabilization.
  • Re-roof one of Taliesin's former stables.
  • Repair a section of Mr. Wright's Office Terrace.
  • Repair the west wall of a bedroom in Taliesin's Hill Wing (formerly the Fellowship kitchen).
  • Reinstall the Chinese Fu dogs to the Lower Parking Court, following their restoration.
  • Repair the stucco and surface of Taliesin's Birdwalk.
  • Masonry outside of the Hill Wing apartment.
• On the rest of the Taliesin Estate, TPI was able to:
  • Repair doors in the Jane and Andrew Porter residence, Tan-y-deri (1907).
  • Remove invasive plant species during the late winter and early spring.
  • Continual grading of roads.

These projects include planning, research, and documentation that are necessary for projects of this scope, and at a National Historic Landmark.
